Farm-To-Fork Beef With Homegrown Roots
2024: A Year In review
I cannot believe how fast the last year has gone! In addition to everyday chores – delivering beef, feeding, irrigating, fencing, calving, branding, etc. – the NCFRB crew has been busy with family, friends and community. Here’s a quick snapshot of 2024’s events/engagements: Multiple demos at Auburn Briar Patch, judge for the local FFA speaking contest, donation of beef for the Junior Livestock Dinner, Law Enforcement dinner and TCA Spring Dinner, sit on the Tahoe Cattlemen Board, cheering on our High School baseball player, Child Abuse Prevention BBQ, 8th grade graduation, Junior Rodeos, hosting the TCA Ranch Tour, BYLT dinner, James became a licensed driver, Tessa finished 5th at the CA State Fair in Showmanship (out of 40+ kids), FAIR, Wyatt started TK, Tessa’s cattle shows, Wyatt is Color Breed Congress Champion Leadline, Elizabeth bought a new horse, Sierra Harvest event….I know I’ve missed more. Add to the top of that Elizabeth had neck surgery and, WOW, what a year.
We have maintained our focus and dedication to raising the best beef for our community! A slight shift in our bull herd offers more consistent genetics and product. We continue to work with our land partners and maintain grazing leases that not only benefit our cattle but offer fire protection and accessibility for our community.
In 2025, we stive to continue to promote and support our community and family! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your year and we sure look forward to seeing you in 2025!
Grant, Elizabeth, James, Tessa, and Wyatt
